Be Strong by Radikal Swim is a comprehensive service designed to support swimmers in their open water swimming journey, helping them achieve their goals in a smart, effective, and safe manner. The service is provided by qualified professionals who are experts in various aspects of swimming. In addition to providing guidance and support in the water, at Radikal Swim we recognize the importance of physical preparation and its impact on swimming performance, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. As a result, we have created the Be Strong project to cover this swimmer's needs.
The services offered by Be Strong include:
Physical Preparation: This involves specific exercises and training to enhance mobility, core strength, general and specific strength for swimming, endurance, and flexibility.
Injury Prevention: Be Strong provides training programs that are tailored to the specific swimming technique, ensuring that swimmers are physically prepared to minimize the risk of injuries.
Injury Rehabilitation: In the unfortunate event of an injury, Be Strong offers personalized rehabilitation programs to help swimmers return to the water quickly and safely.
Be Strong by Radikal Swim offers an integrated approach to training, both in and out of the water. We provide specific physical preparation sessions (Be Strong) as well as technical training sessions (Radikal Tech). Additionally, we collaborate with a sports medicine team and offer access to physiotherapy services.
The service emphasizes individualization, starting with initial assessments to identify each swimmer's specific needs. The training load is balanced and adapted to the number of training sessions, experience, and skill level of each swimmer. Online planning, along with in-water training, ensures a comprehensive approach to training.
Clear and direct communication is a priority at Be Strong. We maintain open channels of communication with the Radikal Swim team, fellow swimmers participating in the sessions, and the medical team (if required). This facilitates easy and efficient communication through platforms like WhatsApp and a dedicated app. The team consists of multidisciplinary professionals, including swimming coaches, physiotherapists, and strength and conditioning coaches.
Be Strong by Radikal Swim offers small group sessions to provide personalized attention and adaptability to individual swimmers. They also provide online planning through a training platform, accessible for two additional training days per week, included in the membership.
